The theme of this party is obviously not Biblically based, like the Christmas and Easter parties. Therefore, use any scripture that seems appropriate to your setting. The reason we do a Back-To-School party is that many churches start special programming that follows the school year. With this party, we are encouraging people to join a church or Christian youth program, like LOGOS, at the beginning of the school year.

Some themes we have used are:

  • Jesus in the boat with the disciples, calming the waters.
  • The story of Esther.
  • The story of the Good Samaritan.
  • Daniel in the Lion’s den.
  • The story of the Prodigal Son.
